DEFINITION:

We at Whole Hearted Ridiers are dedicated to providing a fun, safe, educational equine experience for our students. Taught by a certified NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) instructor.

We offer Therapeutic riding lessons form May 1 through November in our indoor arena. Whole Hearted Riders accepts children as young as 6 years old. A child's weight must not exceed 150lbs to participate in the program. The benefits below will be gained through various horseback games, which include hide and seek games, matching games, memory games, trail obstacle course, mazes, etc.

SESSIONS INCLUDED...

* 45 minutes of ground and mounted time

* Grooming and care of a horse

* Proper safety around a horse

* Tacking up a horse

* Mounting/Dismounting

* Basic horsemanship tasks (stop, go, reining, backing)

COST:

6 lessons for $270.00 or $45.00 per session

PRECAUTIONS:

Horseback riding is contraindicated for some conditions and individuals. Whole Hearted Riders has the right to deny services to any individual.
