FANCY

16 year old breeding stock Paint mare~sweet, tolerant, and patient. She has been working as a therapy horse the longest of all the horses. She is a fovorite in our program. Fancy is also involved in 4-H and horse shows during the summer. She likes to run in speed events (barrels and poles)!

CANDY

22 year old Quarter horse mare. She is retired from her saddle horse/broodmare life with her previous owner. Candy is one of the sweetest and most affectionate horses. Candy loves the company of children.

RUSS

Is our oldest horse. He is a 33 year old Quarter horse gelding. We absolutely can't say enough about this guy. He is worth his weight in gold and then some! His owner retired him from his show and 4-H career and donated him to Wholistic Therapy because he still needed a "job". And what a job Russ does! He works 3-4 days a week and loves what he does! All the children's affections keep him young at heart!

TY

15 year old Quarter horse gelding. Ty is a character and his curiousity gets him in trouble some times. He is the youngest in our program. In his free time he is shown in Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, and Trail classes. He is the only horse in our program with a lateral gait. He does have a tendency to be LAZY, but with regular exercise and training he does very well as a therapy horse.

PUMPKIN

Pumpkin has been with us since the beginning. He is very friendly and loves to cuddle, but watch out, he still has claws! Pumpkin enjoys dressing up for the holidays. He has made us laugh in his sheriff, rocker, elf, and Robin Hood costumes. He also likes to wear his lime green zebra coat on occasion. Pumpkin's favorite pastime is riding the horse, which he has been doing since he was a kitten.
